Goal of Culligan to promote Town of. Seaforth
One of Culligan's goals
is to "promote the Town
of Seaforth as a pleasant
and friendly town to live
in." They do this by
working together as a
team to make each cus-
tomer's purchase a more
enjoyable and pleasant
event. This team consists
of Maureen Wildfong as
manager since 1978,
agents Percy Schneider,
Donna Teatero, Brian
Coombs, Don and
Dianne Freeman, and
Donna Beuerman in the
office. They promise to
"go over and above what
is expected" to make
dreams come true for
their clients.
Originally started in
Mitchell by Maureen's
father in 1977, Culligan's
expanded here to the
location at 8 Main Street,
Seaforth a year later.
Since then they have also
branched out to
Wingham, Bayfield, St.
Marys and Listowel.
Culligan's now employs
approximately 30 people
and serves both Huron
and Perth counties, pro-
viding assistance in buy-
ing and selling homes,
farms, cottages and com-
mercial properties. They
are unique in that they
have a division which
specializes in the sale of
Targe farm operations.
Culligan's has also
catered to the off -shore
market in the past.
Culligan Real Estate
Ltd. attributes their abili-
ty to survive in today's
economy to providing
personalized service and
understand the local
community. Knowing
their customers, recog-
nizing their needs and
working together as a
team are major factors in
their longevity.
"There is nothing more
rewarding than seeing
house owners enjoying
their new homes," says
Maureen, "and that's
what keeps us going that
extra mile."
