The town h developed a Streetscape Master Plan for visual improvement . designed to develop economic activity. The first phase of th plan was completed in front of the his- toric town hall and consisted of a new front porch, handi- capped access ramps heritage style bench- es, 19th century lamp standards, and lovely landscaped grounds. ve Mayor of the tow is Irwin Johnston. Full-time employ are Jim Crocker, as Cathy Garrick, Connie Marion, Lorraine Beales, Marty Bedard, John Forrest, Paul Hulley Doug Anstett and Don Dupee. Beverl is Boyd and Joanne Boyd are employed by the town part- time. They are kept busy co-ordinating the many services th , town provides such as paving and plow- ing roads, providing water, electric power, sewage disposal and n a landfill site, and building and plumb- eseing inspection. The town office also pro- vides parks and recreation facilities, health care programs, public housing, social , assistance, and plan- ning services. y Future plans for the town involve restruc- turing talks which are underway with six other municipalities.
