Bishop celebrates Mass at Dublin
We were pleased to have
Bishop of London John
Michael Sherlock, celebrate
Mass at St. Patrick's, Dublin,
with Father Tony Del Ciancio
as co -celebrant.
Michael MacRae thrilled us
singing "Danny Boy",
accompanied by the regular
choir singing other Irish
songs, accompanied by
Katherine Mabh playing the
organ.
The tiny pre-schoolers
(trained by Annalee
McCreight and helpers) dra-
matized the story of St.
Patrick. Very well done.
After we all gathered in the
church basement where the
CWL ladies treated us to a
delicious lunch.
Birthdays are a time to cele-
brate. Happy 18th birthday to
Julie Shewan of Dublin, who
celebrates today.

Milkshake
club learns
about ice
cream
Our fifth and sixth meetings
were held on Tuesday,
February 25, 1997. Our meet-
ing began with the 4-H
pledge. After, we said roll
call, which was to name what
we knew about ice cream,
which was the focus of this
meeting. We talked about
how ice cream was made,
and different things about it.
Since this meeting was a
combination of two. we also
judged several meals, which
was what meeting six was
about. Near the end of the
meeting, while we worked on
ourpresentations for
Achievement Night, Hilda
took each of us and we were
allowed to make a milkshake
of our choice, using peaches,
chocolate sauce, vanilla, and
strawberry jam. Our
Achievement Night was on
Tuesday, March 4, at 7:30
p.m. at thc First Presbyterian
Church in Seaforth.
