THOUGHT FOR TODAY Some of us believe that wrongs aren't wrong if they're done by nice people like ourselves. Refusing dates By Lydia Zulauf On Tuesday, Nov: 26, Miss Manners held their fifth meeting. Much of the discus- sion was about meeting six. As you probably already know, it will also he Achievement Night. For some people, Laura Nixon. Lydia Zulauf and Lindsey Powell, it is their very first time being in a 4-1-1 club. Other people. such as Jennifer O'Rourke, Stephanie Bach and Jill McKichan, have heen in previous clubs. Other than the talk. they talked about group dating. Is it a good idea'? They also talked about refusing dates, being interested, asking for a date and accepting a date. They read all through the book and talked about com- munication. They talked about how to keep talking with a person. and answered some questions. To impress your date you must he on time, have proper introduc- tions and look your best. The meeting was loaded with things to talk about. in fact, so many i can't write about them all.
