Mr. Hammer Cyclone goalie made plenty of saves as the Eckert boys drilled plenty of shots at him. The finals saw Brock com- peting against Queens, two McGill boats and two teams• from Trent. At the halfway point Queens was in the !cad, but Brock seized the opportu- nity when the leaders experi- enced technical difficulty and ended up winning by almost a boat length. The girls were greeted afterwards by a small but supportive home crowd. They were exhausted but overwhelmingly happy. "We made a lot of people mad today," said Heather in reference to other teams. "They wcrc all yelling at us at the beginning 'Brock's no good."'You shouldn't he here'. .
