BENNEWIES: Remembering our
dear son and brother, 'Braden
Keith Bennewies" who died six
years ago, October. 28, 1990.
There is a special place set apart,
In the very corner of our hearts,
For our first-born son,
All our hearts he won.
In four short months he brought
much joy,
He was a special child, our little
boy, -
But God had other plans for our
sweet Braden,
And now our. hearts are heavy
-laden.
Our love for you will always keep,
. It will not fade, it lies too deep.
A precious smile, a precious face,
A part of our family we can never
replace,'
The short time we spent together.
Are special days we will always
treasure,
Life goes on, we know that's true,
But it's lust not the same, without
you
Lovingly remembered and sadly
missed by Daddy, Mommy,

'Go into meeting with open attitude,' says chair
for neighbourhood properties
was previously mentioned.
"That would be something
that would be of interest to
my client," said McDonald.
Chair Harron asked that
berming be discussed at the
next public meeting with the
neighbours.
He also requested the
municipality have a copy of
the streetlight design when
they meet with neighbours
after Ring raised concerns
about the lighting situation
on the new street. Potter said
street lighting wasn't on the
drawings and that he
"couldn't remember" the
•lighting setup because it had
been "six years ago" .he last
saw the drawings.
The chair said the drainage
should be better after the sub-
division is built than before.
No. Cross Examination
Ring's lawyer didn't wish
to cross examine the engineer
or county planner.
Chair's Closing Comments
"I understand the concern
of the Rings. It (the subdivi-
sion) can have an impact on
the lifestyles you're used to,"
said Harron. -
"I think the evidence is
clear. that the municipality
hilt attempted on occasions to
meet with neighbours hut it
.didn't conclude to the satis-
faction of the Rings."
He asked George Ring to
go into the next public meet-
ing for neighbours "without a
chip on your shoulder."
"Go in with an open atti-
tude and strong suggestions
to council," said the chair.
"The Rings would like to
see the subdivision designed
in a different manner but
that's not before the board. If
they had rear lots abutting
them rather than + street, it
would mean less (lis ,!,tion.
But 1 don't have jurisdiction
to put conditions on plans,"
said Harron.
"Thc board will dismiss the
appeals. The bylaw is in
effect the day it was passed."

Six space explorers from
the United States and France,
along with Canadian astro-
naut Dr. Robert Thirsk con-
ducted 43 experiments on
behalf of scientists from
around the world.
One of these involved the
multitude of canola seeds,
which are now being offered,
along with an equal number
of control seeds that never
left the Earth, to budding ele-
mentary school scientists in
Canada. through a unique
educational -science project
by the federal agriculture
ministry and the Canadian
Space Agency (CSA).
Its called CANOLAB. -
Kits containing the space
and earth seeds, along with
instructional materials and
data collection sheets, will be
.distributed free early this
December to selected ele-
mentary school•classro oms.
. They will design and carry
out experiments to test that
"environmental factors •asso-
ciated with space flight may
alter the micro -structure of
seeds," by comparing germi-
nation and growth rates and
fruit products.
Reports will he sent to the
space agency for compilation
into a national summary.
