The Buren County Board of Education
requires a
COMPUTER TECHNICIAN
Effective immediately, duties include.computer hardware maintenance,
operating system and software support in a multi -platform school board
environment including classroom, office and library applications.
The ideal candidate has a working knowledge of IBM -Compatible and
Macintosh computer hardware repair and related operating systems such
as DOS, UNIX, Windows 95, Windows NT, OS/2 and Mac System 7.
Experience with programming and maintenance of CISCO routers and
familiarity with Novell 4.1 and LAN/WAN architecture are definite assets.
Relevant post -secondary educational qualifications includes a Computer
Technician diploma, Certified Novell Engineer designation (C.N.E.), or
equivalent. The successful candidate has a valid driver's licence and a
reliable means of transportation.
This is a permanent, 40 hours per week, 12 months per year position.
Flexible working hours may be required. The successful applicant will
become a member of C.U.P.E., Local 1428.

away suddenly at Seaforth
Community Hospital. Seaforth, on
Tuesday, October 15, 1996 in his
66th year. Born in York Township
on November 7, 1930, he was a
son of the late Richard Sandiford
and the former Harriet Smith On
April 9, 1955 he was married to
Marilyn Georgia (Lyn) Haworth
Following their marriage the couple
resided in Richmond Hill moving to
McKillop Township in 1989 Ho
was a member of St Peters
Lutheran Church, Brodhagen and
was presently serving on the
Church Council Surviving besides
his wife is a son Bob and his wife
Marg of Waterloo. a daughter
Elizabeth Goetz and tier husband
Tom of Waubashene, six
grandchildren Adam, Maegan and
Ashley Sandiford, Joseph. Jacob
and Matthew Goetz, his father and
mother-in-law George and Mae
Haworth of Toronto and brothers-
in-law and sister-in-law Bud and
Aileen Stoneman of Port Sydney
and Bill Haworth of Toronto He
was predeceased by a brother

the Lockhart Funeral Honte. 109
