Halloween dance planned for
high school students next week
By Jane Powell
Thursday. October 31.
SDHS will he hosting the
annual Halloween Dance for
its students. The dance will
he held from 7-11 p.m. that
evening. Christa Bennett, the
students' council Minister of
Social Affairs, who is largely
responsible for the planning
of this event, decided to
make a change to post
request sheets in each of the
homerooms so that students
would hear only what they
wanted.
As to the costumes to he
worn, they are mysteries to
ktep in tradition with the
Halloween spirit.

Geographers go to IMAX
By Jane Powell
On Friday, Oct. 11, geogra-
phy students took part in a
field trip to the IMAX theatre
at the Western Fair grounds
in London. They saw "The
Ocean is Alive" and "The
Secret of Life." Each produc-
tion offered truly unbeliev-
able adventure which can
hest he summarized as an
"enriching experience" by
Mr. John Ball, who planned
the trip with the purpose of
providing this supplement to
their learning.
Staff Gets Treated
On Thursday Oct. 10, the
