was initiated to Branch 468,
members .,: Branch 468 wel-
come Mr. Taylor to our mem-
bership.
On October 5 members
from our branch visited
Parkwooc) Hospital along
with the branches from thc
Zone, who supplied enter-
tainment and gift packs to the
vets. On Sunday, October 6
branch members attended. the
parade, church service. laying
of wreaths at the cenotaph.
and dinner held in Exeter to
celebrate the 80th anniver-
sary of Huron County's own
161st Battalion.
On Thursday, November 7
thc Legion will he conduct-
ing their door-to-door cam-
paign for the poppy drive
beginning at 6:30 p.m: with
Legion members assisted by
cadets. On Sunday;
November 10 the
Remembrance Day service
will he held at Hcnsall
United Church. Mcrhbcrs are
to meet at the Legion Hall by
' 9:30 a.m. to tiirm up for the
parade to the church. The ser-
vice will take place at 10 a.m.
At the going down of the
sun and in the morning we
will remember them.
The Hcnsall and District
Horticultural Society is hav-
ing a bus trip on Dec. 7. The
bus trip is open to members
of the community and mem-
hers of other horticultural
groups. The cost is $50 for
members of horticultural
groups and $53 for non-
members. Points of interest

Carl Payne's 90th birthday
will he celebrated at
Queensway Nursing Home
from 2-4 on Nov. 2.

by someone driving by a
Paisley -area farm late in the
afternoon of Oct. 11.

estimated $500, was in
William Fair's field at RR 3

Kincardine OPP said a dead
stock company would try to
locate the bullet in the car-
cass to determine what cali-
