Area artists in this week's annual Huron studio tour
Some area artists are
included in this week's
upcoming annual studio tour
put on by the their Huron
society.
Twelve studios are involved
in the increasingly popular
event, Oct. 5 and 6 from 10
a.m. to 5 p.m. The artists
open their studios each fall so
the public can look at works
in progress as well as com-
pleted, varying from paint-
ings and sculpture to glass
design, pottery and black-
smithing.
Robert Tetu's Beechwood
pottery is one of these, in his
historic general store in the
nearby McKillop Township
community.
"The quality of Tetu's
award-winning, high -fired
porcelain, stoneware and
raku pottery is uncompromis-
ing," says a press release
from the Huron Society of
Artists.
