Last tournament for lawn bowlers The September Social of the Seaforth Lawn Bowling Club was held Tuesday evening September 24 com- mencing with a potluck sup- per at 6 p.m. followed by euchre. Winners for euchre were: ladies high, Dorothy McCluskie, ladies lone hands, Velma Presz..cator. ladies consolation, Anne Knight, men's high, Wm. Kelly, men's lone hands. Bob McMillan, men's consola- tion, Robt. Argyle. The next social will he held on October 22 at the Seaforth Legion starting at 8 p.m. for euchre and all are welcome. Hostess will be Velma Preszcator, Rika Van Bakel and Marjorie Rock. Twenty-seven members of the Seaforth Club attended the District 4 banquet in Mitchell on Thursday evening .at the Mitchell Community Ccntre. Due to unfavorable weather the students who were to bowl last week cancelled as the greens were too wet. We hope they enjoyed the days they were able to attend.
