Life is ruff If your slippers need fetch- ing and you have a dog, you might consider obedience classes. For the dog. Starting Oct. 8, the recre- ation department is hosting dog obedience classes, once again instructed by Anita Hansen of Seaforth. There are two classes on Tuesday nights. Level 1 is for teaching basic good manners to' the beginning pooch. The dogs will learn such things as to sit, stand, go' down, to come when called,.etc. It runs. from 7 to 8.p.m. Level 2 goes from 8 to 9 p.m. It is somewhat trickier and involves a dog obstacle course and agility. Owners must have control of their, animals to enroll. Otherwise it would be, may- hem, Hansen says. Beginners do not bring dogs on that first night. More information is avail- able at the Seaforth Recreation Department office. You can call Marty Bedard at 527-0882 for more details.
