Wedding
Carol Elaine Axtmann and William Terry McGregor were married on July
27. 1996 at 3:00 amid the sunflowers at the home of the hrkie:s parents.
The officiating clergy IP( LI Rev. Bruce Cook, Northside -Cavan charge of the
United Church of Canada. Carol is the daughter of Jim and Ruth
rtxlm(uin. RR.04 Wilton. Terry is the son of John and Mary McGregor of
R.R.02 Kip/en. Ontario. Organ mu.slc was provided by Mn. Lynn Smith.
Aldershot. She accompanied the soloists Sherry Lynn Lo. danchuk, her
(laughter and Dana Cunningham who .song Ti, - You 1 Belong'. '1 Swear'
and "Follow Me The renders were Kenneth Axtmann and Dana
Cunningham.
The bride's gown was of Ivory crepe in princess .style with an off the
shoulder neckline. The maid of honor was Sherry Lynn Loudanchuk. friend
of the bride. tier dress mus of forest green and a two piece style. They
corned bouquets of sunflowers. The flower girls were CheLsey and Krystal
Scott. nieces of the groom and Karina and Kala Bogle nieces of the bride.
They were dresser/ in sunflower print pinafores and carried baskets of
potpourri. The ringlearers were Adam and Ryan Axtmann. nephews of the
bride. They wore preen .shorts with white shirts and sunflower rests and
bow ties. The best mon was David McGregor. brother of the groom. The
ushers were Michael Axtmann brother (lithe bride and Dan Upshall. friend
of the groom. They. the groom and best man wore block tuxedo .suits with
brocade vests in green. black and maroon.
After the cerrmon.y. the guests enjoyed family reunhns, a barbecue meal
and dancing to music provided by D.J. Thomas Wheatley all on the
grounds of the Axtmann homesterul.

Cathy -Lynn, daughter of Harry and
Catherine Hak, of Seaforth and Matthew, son
of Gordon and Beryl Phillips, of Oshawa, were
united .in marriage on Saturday, July 6, at St.
James Church, Seaforth. The celebrant was
Rev. John VandenHengel, uncle of the bride.
Matron of honor was Mary Verberne, sister
of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jane Horenberg,
cousin of the bride, Sherry Beuerman and
Cheryl Hern, friends of the couple.
Best, man was Andrew Phillips, brother of the
groom. ,Ushers were Alexander Phillips and
James Phillips, brothers of the groom arid
David Clara, friend of the couple.
Soloist was George Barnett and the organist
was Debbie 'VandenHengel, accompanied by '
the St. James choir. The wedding party was led
by piper Sandy McQuillan.
After a wedding trip to Western Canada, the
couple now resides in Whitby.
