Wednesday evening, Aug. 21
at the arena, where ice is
returning this wcck, with the
instructors at Dave
McLlwain's Hockey School
taking on a lineup of assorted
talent.

"goalie's nightmares" the
past two years but highly
entertaining.

things just starting to come
together, but the local hockey

THE SKINNY: local lads hang
on to top spot in Second
Division/Central against chief
challangers, who handed them one
of only two losses so far this sea-
son. in their first outing back in
the spring. It was 0-0 at the half
and Si. Columhan scored three
limes in about a 20 -minute span of
the second. The Scots came hack
13
with two and made a game of it.
Several bookings - it was a "rough
and ready" engagement.
STANDINGS: St. Columhan still
one point up on second -place
Scottish. Roth teams are even in
the Toss column, but Scottish have
a game in hand and perhaps the
inside track. Still. possession is
9/I0ths of the law, and St.
Columhan has how beaten them
twice this season. once in Cup
