They brought their 4-1-I dairy calves to learn a little more about the art of showing their calf. First on the agenda was Peter Kudclka, to show the members how to trim their calf's hooves. Members also received halters, which Kudelka taught them how to properly tic up their calves. Next was John McDougall to demonstrate the clipping. He gave the members many helpful tips and pointers on making their calves look their hest. After lunch, the members successfully tackled clipping their own calves keeping in mind what they had just learned. The club then split into two groups and worked on their leading and showmanship skills. To end the day, mcmhcrs judged a class of four-year- old milking Jerseys, for which John McDougall gave the official reasons. The next two 4-14 events for the club will he the judging competition on August 14, and "achievement day, August 16. July 17 Expositor Exposed!
