Seaforth, at the age of 72 yea's He. was born on May 1, 1924 Peter was the beloved husband of Johanna (Jean) Van Each. whom he married April 7, 1953 They immigrated to Canada one week after their marriage and farmed in McKillop Township. Petrus Gerardus was the son of the late Honncus and Geertruda (Klerkx) Van Drunen He was the loving father of Trudy and her husband Steve Patterson of Stratford, Francis Van Drunen and his wife Marguerite of R.R. 5, Seaforth, Joanne and her husband Bruce Pratt of Kansas, Peter Van Drunen, Jr., and his wile Mary Jo of R R 3, Mitchell, and Michael Van Drunen and his wife Kelly of London and was fondly remembered by his thirteen grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his brother Gerard Van Drunen and sisters Cory Pullen, Ann Van Weert and Marie Van Delft, all of Holland. Visitation and parish prayers were held at the Whitney-Ribey Funeral Home, Seaforth, on Sunday Mass of the Christian burial was celebrated at St. Columban Roman Catholic Church on Monday, July, 1, 1996, with Fr Joseph Hardy officiating.
