Ile also shared another award as regular -season MVP, with second -year forward Steve Mclnally who won a second trophy outright for hcing team scoring leader. Brent Hulley won the tro- phy for tieing the Centenaires top dcfcnceman. Dwight Gingcrich got the nod for hcing most improved, and J.C. Kirk -won the Jack McLlwain Trophy for hcing the player who hest com- bined sportsmanship with ability this season. All were rookies. Veterans. Kalen Carroll .and Jason Uunscith were also given plaques, as graduating ovcragcrs. Mcinally not only led the Cents, but took the Morelli Division scoring title by tour points with his total of 58, from 25 goals and 33 assists. • Wood played on a minor card all season for the Cents, as the junior and minor sys- tems in Seaforth co-operated, and only veteran Darren Kints of the Exeter Hawks posted hotter numbers in the division of the Ontario .1 -hickey Association's Junior "D"evelopment League. Wood represented the Cents between the pipes at the annual all-star girmc and fin- ished the regular season ,with 3.34 goals against average! ip a little more than 23 games.
