The Corporation of the County of Huron and its Local
Boards are requesting proposals for professional Audit
Services. The term of engagement is for three years,
commencing with fiscal year 1996, with a renewal option
for an additional two years.
Information Packages may be obtained in person from
the Clerk -Administrator's Office, located in the Huron
County Court House, Main Floor. Open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30
p.m., Monday through Friday; or by calling 519-524-8394.

cludes the vintage plant
craslii that clairned.two lives
at Goderich last summer was
caused by the 77 -year-old
pilot's heart attack.
Post - mortem iests showed
John Hindmarsh head severe-
coronary
everecoronary artery disease, hut
had followed regulations for
his valid private pilot's
license.
He wa4 killed in the May
25 crash of the 1943 Tiger
Moth hi -plane in a field just
north of Godcrich, as was 16 -
year -old Mark Mathers.
The report says the airplane
was maintained properly and
its elderly pilot had passed

Goal of $400,000 in
cancer donations
It's cancer month and the
Huron -Perth Unit of the
Canadian Cancer Society has
1.800 volunteer canvassers
knocking on doors.
They arc some of the
I25.0O0 volunteers soliciting
funds for cancer across
Canada in April.
The society hopes to raise
$40 -million across Canada in
1996 and $21 -million in
Ontario, half through its resi-
dential canvas.'
The fundraising goal is
$400,{)0) in the counties of
Huron and Perth.
One in three Canadians will
develop some form of cancer
in their lifetime. according to
a society press release.
