They arc some of the I25.0O0 volunteers soliciting funds for cancer across Canada in April. The society hopes to raise $40 -million across Canada in 1996 and $21 -million in Ontario, half through its resi- dential canvas.' The fundraising goal is $400,{)0) in the counties of Huron and Perth. One in three Canadians will develop some form of cancer in their lifetime. according to a society press release.
