SPRING
CLEAN-UP
DROP-OFF SITE
For the convenience of our residents, the Town of
Seaforth provides a drop-off facility for branches,
leaves, and garden clippings, 'at the Public Works
Shed (35 Oak Street).
Please make 'use of 'this facility, and help us
maintain our Town's clean streets by not raking
refuse and yard materials onto the boulevards and
streets.
Our street sweeper can only handle regular dust and
sand accumulations from winter street maintenance.
Large amounts of sand, gravel, and other materials
placed on the streets will clog our storm severs and
cause flooding problems.
Just a reminder, as part of our cost reduction
program, the Town of Seaforth has discontinued
curb side branch pick-up services, however,
branches can be taken to the drop-off site. '
Please place only leaves and garden clippings in the
designated areas and keep the plastic bags or
cardboard containers used to transport leaves and
clippings to the site.
