Seaforth library moves back to Carnegie building. ' BY GREGOR CAMPBELL Expositor Staff Spring hath most definitely sprungcth for the Seaforth library -which -re -opened in its own building April Fool's Day, It is almost like having a brand new home. The library spent seven months just up Main Street while its historic digs, a Carnegie library dating from 1912, got a $375,000 spruce up. They -moved hack last week. The 20,000 or so hooks returned in'two shifts Sunday and staff was ready ,•for'husiness in re -organized and spiffy new surroundings 'Monday. Any confusion was well hidden. Librarian Trudy Broome is confident'staff can .still find any hook in the stacks, however obscure. Refinished furniture, some of it dating hack to the origi- nal building, is -coming hack slowly.
