Eight teams remain in the _ hunt for thc OHA title. .. Two of the top contenders - the Exeter Hawks and Centenaires - now square off in a best -of -seven series -for all the marbles in the Morenz Division. The series began -last night in Exeter, after this paper went to press. It -resumes tonight -(Wednesday) in Seaforth at 8:15 p.m. Game three is at Exeter Friday night, with the fourth hack at Seaforth Sunday. Both are. 8:30 starts. The "smart money" says Exeter should prevail. The - Hawks were far and away the hest team -in all divisions of both conferences during the regular schedule, with 30 wins, four- Tosses and another. four ties: They also scored. the most goals and gave up thc fewest. The Cents finished 18 points behind them, in third place in the Moretti, and only managed to glean_oneof a possihte IO points, by virtue of an overtime loss, from the five occasions the two teams went head-to-head. The Hawks heat the Cents 6-1,antL4-2 in Seaforth, and 5-1-and'542 wild 6-5 in OT in Exeter: They last played_ each other six weeks ago on Super Bowl Sunday at Hensal.l, where the Hawks once again won, 3- I . . Veterans Chris Kennedy .and Nate Burns were, the most effective.
