Huron County is a vacation
destination of charm, culture
and beauty and endless pos-
sibilities."
Along the tour of "Ontario's
West Coast", many tourist
destinations are visited, such as
the Van Eginond reserve, and
• some interesting points are
raised. Lobb, during the nar-
ration, notes that almost one-
fifth of the county's labor force
is "directly employed by
agriculture", making the county
"Ute most prominent Canadian
agricultural region east of
Winnipeg".
The students involved in the
production, Morfopoulos stated,
'deserve some ack-
nowledgement" for putting
together the video. "To a large
extent, it was paid produc-
tion, but everyone put in lots of
overtime hours for frcc, to
make it work for, Huron Coun-
ty tourisrn," he said. He later
added, "One thing; I'd' like to
get across - thc students did the
county proud...1 think they did
a very nice joke`
Morfopoulos is not the only
one who is enthusiastic about
the video, as -he said, "People
arc quite excited by it all," and
added that judgingbiy thc feed-
back he has received, "They
really captured the texture, the
feeling of the county."
While tourist operators will
receive the video for frcc to
show to potential Huron Coun-
ty tourists, the video is also
being made available for sale
as a fundraiser for the HTA.
Morfopoulos said videos can
be purchased directly from the
HTA, from major tourist
operators in the county, and
from the Computer Training
Academy.
The co-fillxfuccr also noted a.
that if enough interest can be .
raised in the tourists video, -
"we might go .for something
bigger and better next year."
