Stratford station
The news director of CJCS
radio has left the Stratford
station after 15 years to pursue
his dream of becoming a
chartered accountant. Doug
Lester has been going to school
part-time to pursue that end for
thepast five years.

undergo heart surgery after a
speech by Bill Harmond ,at its

No reduced rate
The Goderich Recreation
Board has nixed a request from
the town's high . school for a
reduced ice rate for the Viking
hockey team at the Goderich
arena.
GDCI paid 52,800 for ice
rental at that arena last year.
