The artificial tree's wick
There once was an artificial
tree called Art. His only wish
was to be a real tree. He
wished and he wished and he
even prayed but nothing
happened. It was Christmas
Eve and still nothing
happened. All of his hopes
had fallen down a big, black
hole.
That night he dreamed how
nice it would be to move his
branches. The sound of
laughter woke Art. He
stretched and shook himself.
All of a sudden, Art realized
he had moved. Art was so
happy he shook himself too
hard and a couple of lights
went out. Then Art said,
'Thanks, Santa. Thanks a lot.'

Lyndsy and the Denmark tradition
One morning Lyndsy woke
up and gpt a surprise.
Downstairs was a little bag of
candy. Lyndsy didn't know
what to do with it. She asked
her mom and she said that it
was a Danish tradition for
Santa to give you a treat or a
small present, every day. So
Lyndsy was happy that she
got a treat every day. That
night befor she went to bed,
Lyndsy's mom said that she
had another Danish tradition
for her. It was a candle. A
candle with the numbers from
1-24 on it. Lyndsy's mom
said that now she would
know how many days until
Christmas and she wouldn't
have to ask. That night
Lyndsy was a sleep in no
time. For the rest of
December Lyndsy was very
happy.
