won't be long until the wind
will be blowing and the snow
flying. Psst. I'll let you in on
a secret: it's here!
The Huron Strings

their musical talent. Marie

idea, members did a matching

symbols.
The fourth meeting of the
Seaforth 1 4-H Club was held
on Oct. 23. Members
answered the roll call 'Name
one item that a first-aid kit
should contain'. They learned
first aid for: bleeding, burns,
frostbite, broken limbs,
poison, unconsciousness,
CPR, and choking. Members
watched a movie on CPR.
Then members judged four
first-aid kits. Then they did a
crossword and a word search.
'Now We're Cooking' forms
The group also chose a name
for their club, 'Now We're
Cooking'.
The third meeting of
McKillop I Club had a very
enjoyable evening making -up
skits. The skits are like a
commercial and the members
are supposed to 'sell' a fruit
or vegetable. Another
opportunity to cook presented
itself and the members dove
into the kitchen to make a
pasta dish and baked apples.
