Mystery Table
The Seaforth Hospital
Auxiliary meeting was held
on Oct. 12 at 8 pen in
Conference Room 2 at
Seaforth Community Hospital.
President Margaret M. Lee
welcomed everyone and
opened the meeting with a
poem, `A Thought for
Today'. The Auxiliary prayer
was recited in unison.
Eighteen members answered
the roll call with a gift for the
Mystery Table at the Bazaar
Reports were read and
approved.
The Auxiliary will purchase
a stretcher for the Emergency
Dept. at a cost of $3,400 for
the hospital.
Final plans were made for
the Bazaar and tea to be held
on Saturday, Nov. 4 at the
hospital. Members may leave
their donations of non-
perishable food for the
Grocery Basket draw with
Dorothy Hays. Tickets are on
sale now.
Final plans were discussed
for the 'Tree of Lights'
program on Nov. 19.
Plans were discussed to
decorate the hospital on Nov.
12 at 1:00 pm.
Mystery Prize was won by
Janet Cluff. Lunch was
served by Marjorie Rock and
Susan Dick.

rehearsing 'Magic Video,' a
teen romance (that's unusual).
Performances will be in
December at the school.
`Drama is not really like
school, and isn't like other
extra -curricular activities.
Everyone is a colleague and
there isn't much division
between the ranks...when you
get on stage in front of an
audience who is expecting a
fabulous performance, it is a
huge adrenaline rush,' says

their premiere will be the
Remembrance Day service on
Nov. 10, with 'From A
Distance,' `Never Again,' and
'Dream A Dream.'

Summer day camp
axed in Mitchell
Summer day camp has been
axed by Mitchell Council, on
the recommendation of the
town's parks, recreation and
awards committee.
The program had been losing
money in recent years with
lack of participants a prime
cause.

participating in a Drinking
and Driving Impact program
co-ordinated by the OPP, The
Addiction Research
Foundation, and the
Alexandra Marine and
General Hospital in Goderich.

They visited the hospital
this week: '11 was
awesome...yet really
disturbing...definitely a
worthwhile experience. This
program will make all of us
think twice before we drink
and drive,' reported students.
Students were exposed to the
tragic consequences of
drinking and witnessed a
staged emergency room event.

A draft information web page
is being developed for the
Internet by the Huron County
Board of Education.
"It is a growing document in
a temporary location," states a
recent Board newsletter.
"Eventually all schools will
have a similar page," it con-
tinues. "The current document
includes copies of various
items including our mission
statement, names and addresses
of all schools, links to other
home pages created by staff
working throughout the Huron
public education system, con-
nections with schools in other
systems, key educational infor-
mation linkaes, and numerous
'kids' sights."

Ont., were married at Duffs United Church, Walton on August
12, 1995. Rev. Randy Banks officiated the ceremony.
Heather's sister, Cathy Melady, RR#2, Dublin, was Matron of
Honour. Bridesmaids were Lorrie Goos, Walton, Sherry
Better -man, Oshawa, friends of the bride, Shelley McGavin and
Shannon McGavin, sisters-in-law of the bride.
Brian Belec, Don Mills, friend of the groom was best man.
Ushers were Mike Goos, Walton, friend of the groom, Pat Melady,
RR #2,Dublin, brother-in-law of the bride, Brian McGavin and
Jeff McGavin, brothers of the bride.
Ring bearers were Alex Melady, Brent Melady and Brandon
McGavin.
Readers at the ceremony were Brant Kelso, Sault Ste. Made,

bride.

Guests were invited to an afternoon reception at the bride's
parents' home, the evening reception was held at the Brussels
Morris & Grey Community Centre where Diana Pearson and
John Steiner were masters of ceremonies.
Heather and Bryan honeymooned in the Dominican Republic,
and are now residing in London, Ontario.
