DEATHS WRIGHT, Mr. Gordon Alexander of Seaforth, passed away at Seaforth Community Hospital on Wednesday, October 4, 1995 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Pretty (1964 Dear brother and brother-in-law of Alice and Bob Tyndall of Seaforth, Morley and Audrey Wright of Stoney Creek, Bill Leyburn, Margaret Wright and Barbara Wright all of London, Mary Rowcliffe of Seaforth, Alan and' Wilma Pretty of Sarnia, and Phyllis and Dean Aldwinkle of Varna. Also loved by several nieces and nephews. Special friend of Elsie Southgate of Seaforth. Predeceased by 1 sister Muriel Leyburn and by 2 brothers Arthur J. and Allan M. Wright. Gordon was Worshipful Master of Britannia Lodge A.F. & A.M. #170, Seaforth in 1960, and Grand Steward in 1977. Gordon was also a member of the Bluewater Shrine Club, Scottish Rite of Masonry, Royal Canadian' Legion Branch #1.56, Seaforth, Brucefield Oddfellows, and St. Thomas Anglican Church. Friends were received at the Box and Smith Funeral Chapel, 47 High St. Seaforth on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services were held on Friday, October 6, 1995 at 2 o'clock. Reverend Aubrey Bell of St. Thomas Anglican Church officiated. Interment Maitland Bank Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Masonic Foundation, Scottish Rite, or to the Seaforth Community Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
