appreciated
Queensway Nursing Home
residents welcomed the Hensall
Presbyterian women Monday
afternoon as they led a bingo.
We appreciate these women
providing a bingo each
afternoon in September.
Rev. Verhoog led the
worship service Tuesday
afternoon. The sermon was
great and the residents
appreciated the compliments on
their good singling. Thank you
also to the pianist.
Winnie Hutton, volunteer
chaplain, was also in one day
this week to provide her
pastoral care to several
residents.
Kay Mock, Auxiliary
member, presented a very
informative session at the
International Day featuring
Alaska. Kay recently took an
Alaskan Cruise. Everyone
found her video very
interesting.. Cold -d -d -d
icecream seemed an
appropriate shack, when Baked
Alaskan wasn't an option.
One-to-one visitation using
music and reading was a
relaxing end to the week for
many residents.
