Programs include wood refinishing, water colour paint- ing, dog obedience, fitness, step training, line dancing, volleyball and basketball. Look in today's paper for our advertisement and more details or call the Seaforth Recreation Office at 527-0882. Seaforth Minor Ball will be hosting a wrap-up pot luck for all players and parents. The pot luck will be held at the Seaforth and District Commun- ity Centres on Thursday, Sept. 28 beginning at 6:00 p.m. Please pass the word on. If you have uniforms at home, please return them at the pot luck. The Seaforth Senior Bowling League will be starting on Sept. 22. This day will be a practice day and the league schedule begins Sept. 29. If you are unable to make any of these two dates please call Betty Hulley at 527-1753 or Beuy Leonhardt at 527-1744. The Seaforth Co-operative Children's Centre would tike to invite you to their open house on Sept. 21 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Come» and look at the facilities and meet the staff. The Seaforth Community Hospital will be hosting perinatal information sessions throughout autumn. All sessions are held at the hospital in conference room 2. First session is Thursday, Sept. 28 at 7:30 p.m. Learn about mid- wifery and labour support. Admission is free. For more information you can call the Hospital at 527-1650. The Seaforth Senior Games Committee would like to invite JRecreation Preview by Marty Bedard all Seniors who participated in the Senior Games to the Awards Potluck. This pot luck will be held at the Seaforth Legion on Thursday, October 12 beginning at 5:30 p.m. Guests are very welcome and cards will follow. Last week's Senior Shuffleboard winners were: Women: V. Swine club judges syrup The 4-H Swine Club held its third meeting on July 17. Ten out of eleven members were present. Club members judged maple syrup. The maple syrup will be at the judging competition in Seaforth. The members then talked about a boar pen or their own pen. The meeting was held in the shed. They saw Ray and Barb Storey's chinchillas. Then they talked a little about the judging competition in Seaforth. There will be toolboxes and maple syrup and lots of things to judge. Club members got maple -flavoured sausage on a bun and pop at the end of the meeting. We liked the sausages. The fourth meeting of the 4- H Swine Club was held on Hensall by Liz Sangster 262-2715 ` Wonder of You' topic at church HENSALL UNITED CHURCH Sharon Wurm was the guest speaker at Hensall United Church. Sharon's message was "Ordinary People or the Wonder of You". The Children's Story was "One At A Time". The ushers were George Parker and Ross Kercher. VISITORS Recent house guest s with Mary Roohol were Mrs. Ans Koolen-Van Dyke. of Three Rivers, Quebec. and her son Eugene Van Dyke, of Montreal. Dinner guests were Ron and Jane Gelderland, of Ridgctown. While in Hensall, the Van Dykes were dinner guests of Maja and Donald Dodds, of Seaforth, and Lynn and Ron Godkin of RR I, Kirkton. Aug. 21. Club members learned about weaning pigs, flooring systems, and water systems. They talked about hog barns where 'the pigs are moved three times. First the pigs are moved from the weaning barn, followed by the growing barn, then the finishing barn. Club members were asked if they can help at the 1995 Huron Farm Hiker Tour on Sunday, Oct. 15 from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. There will be beef, pork, dairy, red deer, emu, elk, sheep and an orchard. Father Antonio Del Ciancio officiated the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of John and Sharen Forrest. Seaforth and the groom is the son of Charles and Catherine Terpstra, Brussels. The maid of honour was Cheri Taylor of Londesboro, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jill Horan of Dublin, friend of the bride; Mary Skinn of Wingham, sister of the groom: Kady Terpstra of Brussels, sister of the groom and Julie Harris of Dublin, cousin of the bride. The best man was Joe Ryan of Walton. friend of the groom.
