Beautiful baptism ceremony held Congratulations to Connor Patrick Delaney, son of Pat and Charlene Delaney, who was baptized on Sun. Aug. 27 with five other little babies. The beautiful ceremony was conducted at noon by Fr. Tony Del Ciancio. Relatives and friends attended. Dublin and • area is deeply saddened by the death of W. I was thrilled to read about the new "St. Anne's Roman Catholic Secondary School" in Clinton that is beginning a new era and opening. Congratulations to Principal Ray Contois (an excellent teacher and organizer) who was involved with,. the planning. from the beginning stages to the finishing touches. SNACK TIME AT BIBLE SCHOOL - Marjorie Phillips offers snacks to Grant Bolton and Sarah Johnston during the Bethel Bible Church vacation bible school last week. The week attracted 140 different. children. The theme was Sontown and the church was decorated like a small town complete with shops, police stations and a fire truck. Everyone welcome. The Hensall United Church Sunday School teachers and parents will meet at the church . on Sept. 7 at 7:30 p.m. The Youth Group (age 13, 14 & 15 years old), will meet at the church on Sept. 13 at 7:30 p.m. Deb Collins is the contact person for this group. Hensall Parks Board is busy putting the final touches on the plans for its Yuk Yuk's Komedy ;Cabaret. On Sat. Sept. 16, three professional comedians from Yuk Yuk's will be entertaining at the Hensall Community Centre. The event is planned as a community event and fundraiser, with proceeds going to community recreation. Details about the event, and tickets are available from the Municipal Office (262-2812) and the Arena (262-3206). A limited number of spaces are still available in the Hensall Tinker Tots Co -Op Nursery School. Parents of 212 to 5 - year -old children are encouraged to contact Liz Richardson (262-2947) for further information and registration. Past members are. invited to drop by and see the Hensall Public School location - as it begins it's second year there.
