Remembering you each day, but especially on your birthday, August 28. Dad Little did we know that morning Dad, The sorrow the day would bring. The call was sudden and the shock severe, To lose a dad like you. You never said goodbye to all of us, Dad, But perhaps that's just as well. We could never have said 'goodbye' To a Dad we loved so well. They say that memories are golden, Well maybe that's true, But we never wanted the memory Dad, We only wanted you. Your life was never selfish, For others you always lived, Not for what you could receive, But for what you were able to give. Dad,if we all could have one lifetime wish, One dream that could come true, We would pray to God with all our hearts, For yesterday and you. We love and miss you dad.
