DEATHS r PAPPLE, William David of Egmondville in his 80th year at Stratford General Hospital on Sunday, July 23, 1995. Beloved husband of Dorothy (MacKenzie). DEATHS ♦ HAIST, Mao Velma of Seaforth, formerly of McKillop Twp. at Seaforth Manor on July 17, 1996 in her 91st year. Velma Heist, daughter of the late John Heist and Eliza Barrows. Dear sister of the late Vera Heist and Elton Heist. Survived by one niece Betty Kittar of Seaforth and one nephew Bill Hoist of B.C. Visitation was held at the Whitney-Ribey Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth on Wednesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service was held at the funeral home Thursday, July 20th at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Maitlandbank Cemetery, Seaforth. Rev. James Sloan officiated Velma Heist was a life member of Cavan United Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. He was born in McKillop Twp., son of the late John and Margaret Maloney and had worked at General Coach in Hensall, Boshart Furniture in Seaforth and for many years was the caretaker at St. James Roman Catholic Church in Seaforth. While living in Stratford he was a member of St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church. Predeceased by his wife, the former Doris Anna Dennis, March 9, 1989.
