BROCK, Roy Thomas of
• Brucefield died at Victoria Hospital
on Monday, July 10. He was 80.
Born in Hensall on June 9, 1915,
he was the son of the late George
Edward and Flossie May (Merner)
Brock. He was married to the
former Anna M. Cornish. Mr. Brock
was a retired electrician and
plumber at Fink's Plumbing and
Heating in Hensall. He was a
member of Brucefield United
Church and a former member of
Hensall United Church. He was a
•life member of the Royal Canadian
Legion, Hensall Branch No. 468.
Mr. Brock was a veteran of World
War II. Along with his wife Anna,
Mr. Brock is survived by his
sisters, Olive Cooper of Hensall
and Mildred Townsend of Mitchell.
He is also survived by several
nieces, nephews, great nieces and
great nephews. He was
predeceased by one sister, Grace
Brock, and by one brother, Lloyd
Brock. A memorial service was
held by the Royal Canadian Legion
Hensall Branch - 468 on
Wednesday, July 12. The funeral
service s ,1eld at the Beattie -
Falconer f=uneral Homes in Clinton
on Thursday, July 13, with Rev.
Stan McDonald, the former
minister at Hensall United Church
officiating. The flower bearers were
Michael Brock, James Ellerton,
Larry Uyl and Ivan Wightman. Tho
pallbearers were nephews Dan
Cornish, Dean Cornish, Dwayne
Cornish, Doug Cornish, Doug Kyle
and Doug Johnston: Interment in
Baird's Cemetery in Stanley

age 58, passed away in St.
Anselme, Quebec on July 8, 1995.
Survived by his sister Barbara
