'Take the out to the Ball

song, the odd couple took off
their baseball shirts to reveal
bathing suits as the song
changed to, 'Take me back to
the .Swimming Pool'. JoAnn
McDonald and Jane Zwep were
the two entertainers. Shannon
McGavin read the address to
Kim and then with help

how great it was to be have

Rev. Banks told the story of
a spoiled little boy who learned
about God's peace. The story
went on to say that whatever
the boy wanted he go and still
the boy was not happy. Even

tour of the Rose Gardens and
Perennial Beds. The tour con-

a beautiful place and he said,
'God is everywhere'. Later that
day he passed a sick hungry
beggar on the road and said to
him, 'You are Christ's brother.
Because of that you are my
brother too.' the man that Rev.
Banks was talking about was
St. Francis of Assisi. Rev.
Banks sermon was called 'The
Subject was Preaching' and it
contained all that you wanted
to know about putting a sermon
together but were afraid to ask.
The Walton Community
welcomes home Don and
Monique Baan and Ken and
Leona McDonald who travelled
out west. Ken and Leona took
their friend Maxine Marks
(Seaforth) with them for a five
week holiday. Their first stop
was a Brock, Sask. where they
attended an 80th birthday
celebration for Ken's cousin,
Mary Speir (McDonald). While
in Saskatchewan they visited
with more family of Kens.
From there the group travelled
to Vancouver to stay with Neil
McDonald. They did a lot of
sight-seeing and enjoyed the
Mountains. 'It seems that no
matter where you travel you
always run into someone who
knows where you live," says
Leona. They met several
people on the way who had
been stationed at Clinton and
they also ran into the same
family from London twice.
They said that it was good to
be home and Ken noticed how
much the crops had grown
since leaving in June.
Don and Monique travelled
to Calgary to visit family. They
also visited Banff and Jasper
National Parks. Monique said
that she loved the Mountains.
The couple while travelling
through some of the States,
saw Mt. Rushmore.
The Walton Women's

This elegant two storey, designed for a lot with rear lane access, boasts a fashionable stucco exterior with
feature windows and a dramatic high arched entrance.
Enter through double doors into the foyer which is open to the second storey and brightened by an overhead
window. French doors lead into a sunken living room featuring a stylish vaulted ceiling. An open plan for the
living and dining room creates a spacious atmosphere for entertaining, and a sliding pocket door in the dining
room closes this area off from the noisy hustle hustle of the kitchen. The kitchen has an efficient working lay-
out with ample cupboard and counter space and a pantry. An open counter allows one to look into the nook
and enjoy the natural sunlight pouring in from surrounding windows. The family room provides plenty of
room to arrange furnishings and features a cosy gas fireplace. A den, just inside the front entrance, would
make an ideal home office.
Upstairs, all three bedrooms ate a good siie. The games room shows a rough -in for closet if a fourth bed-
room is preferred. The master features a walk•in closet, and a five piece ensuite with double sinks and a
raised swirl tub.
