Homemakers sponsor picnics
A series of summer picnics
will include tenant meetings to
discuss Supportive Housing.
The Summer Fun Picnic will
be held in Seaforth at 50 Mar-
kct Street in Seaforth on July
11 from 12-2 p.m. The event is
sponsored by the Supportive
Housing Project of the Town
and Country Hometfiakers.
Other picnics will be taking
place on July 5 in Zurich; July
6 in Blyth; July 12 in
Winghaln and July 13 in
Clinton.
Participants in the picnics are
asked to bring a plate, a cup
and silverware for personal use

Supportive Housing is a plan
to help maintain the indepen-
dence of the elderly and adult -
disabled:
Supportive services which arc
provided include personal
support and homemaking.
Personal support services
include personal hygiene and
grooming, preventative skin
care, escorts to medical
appointments, exercise, dress-
ing and undressing, assistance
with eating, toileting and uri-
nary care, changing of non-
sterile dressings and respiratory
care.
Homemaking services include
house cleaning and laundry,
shopping, menu planning and
meal preparation, banking and
bill paying.

Most classes run daily from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
FEES: All courses are free
LOCATION: AH courses, except Continuing Education, are
offered at Central Huron Secondary School in Clinton. Bus
transportation is provided from Exeter, Goderich, Wingham and
Seaforth. Continuing Education courses will be in Vanastra,
Wingham and Goderich. -

NOTICE OF
HIGHWAY CLOSING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to the
Municipal. Act, R.S.O. 1990 Chapter M.45 and other
„powers thereunto enabling, the Council of the Corporation
OT the Town of Seaforth proposes to enact a By -Law for
stopping up, closing and selling certain parts of Sparling
Street in_tl\ie Town of Seaforth and County of Huron. The
proposed By -Law and descriptions of the lands affected
may be viewed in the Municipal Office of the Corporation
of the Town of Seaforth at the address hereinafter noted.
The Council of the Town of Seaforth will hear, in personor
by counsel or agent, any person who claims his land will be
prejudicially affected by the said By-laws and who applies
to be heard at a meeting to be held at the Seaforth Council
Chambers on the 8th day of August, 1995 at the hour of
7:30 p.m. or so soon thereafter as the said meeting may be
held.
