HomeMy WebLinkAboutThe Huron Expositor, 1995-07-05, Page 22Rec department hosts fitness, step training The Seaforth Recreation Department will be hosting Fitness and Step Training once again this summer. Your Instructor will be Drusilla Leitch. Class times will be Tuesday mornings from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. and Wednesday evenings from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday evening will be a combined aerobic step training class. Both classes will be eight weeks long. Please call the Seaforth Recreation Office at 527-0882 to register. Drusilla will also be instruct- ing Aqua Fit this summer. Aqua Fit will be held at the Lions Pool on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. Please pre -register by calling Drusilla at 527-1182, or the Recreation Office at 527-0882. Aqua Fit will begin on July 10. Senior Shuffleboard continues every Wednesday afternoon from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. All seniors are welcome to enjoy an afternoon of fun and fellow- ship. Daily and weekly rates are available. You will enjoy many fun activities such as, swimming, crafts, magic shows, treasure hunt, penny carnival, roller blading and much, much more. Also, the group will be going to Pioneer Sports World, Dungannon Zoo, African Lion Safari, just to name a few. Summer Fun is a community based program designed to ensure an active and safe summer for your child. In a caring environment, they will explore activities that will enhance their physical, social, and creative self. We have organized three age groupings for the children: Snoopyschool - ages 3 to 5, Playschool - ages 6 to 8, and Playground - ages 9 to 12. The friendly and responsible staff invites your child to a summer of fun. The Seaforth Lions Pool will now be open during regular summer hours. Public swim- ming times will be Monday to Friday, 1:30 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 - 8:30 p.m., Saturday and LOST DOG Black & brown.
