Children's Co -
Op Centre has
busy month
May has been another busy
month at the Seaforth Co-oper-
ative Children's Centre. One of
the highlights of the month was
a visit to the vet clinics petting
zoo during 'Animal Health
Week.' The donkey and baby
puppies were the most popular
animals sten by the
preschoolers and toddlers. The
school age children thought the
snakes were "awesome".
The Sunrise Music for Young
Children class has been busy
singing fortay and learning to
keep the beat. The cylinders
and castanets arc two of their
favorite instruments. Their
favorite song they like to sing
is "I have a car and its made of
tin."
The toddlers arc progressing
nicely with their moveability
program on Monday mornings.
They are enjoying exercising to
music and using ncrf bulls and
bean bags.
Happy Birthday in the month
of May to Matthew Teetcro,
Ilan Bell, Stephen Sharpe,
Caitlin Russell, inda Feeney.

Summer holidays approach
It's hard to believe it's June
already. Soon the kids will be
off for their summer holidays.
Our residents and staff would
like to thank the student volun-

appreciated thc walks outside,

and other activities inside.

and Jerrod Munro for spending
all that quality time with us.
Congratulations go to Amy
and Dave Harman on thc birth
of their first child, Zachary
David, 5 lbs 10 I/2 oz on April
22.
This month we were busy
hodge podging two piggy
banks for the two new baby
boys on staff. It was a really
sticky job but, we had a lot of
fun doing it and the piggy
banks sure turned out nice.

shower for Jody and Rob
Brown's baby; Travis, and

talent in the cake decorating
department. It sure was nice to
sec two beautiful bouncing
baby boys.
We had our quilt draw at our
Mother's Day Tea on' May 14.
Congratulations to Angela
Maylor on winning our hand-
made quilt and pillow. All the
proceeds go towards our resi-
dents activity fund. Thank you
to everyone for buying tickets.
On May 16, we had a nice
day for our drive to Goderich.
We enjoyed our ice cream on
the beach. It was nice to see
some of the changes that have,
happened in Goderich and the
water looked so beautiful and
blue.
Henrietta Brown played the
piano on May 20. Thank you
Henrietta for entertaining us,
Your piano playing is very
enjoyable to listen to.
