WHERE IS YOUR SCORE?
SCOREBOARD welcomes all
results from Seaforth and area
teams regardless of sport. But we
can't report it if we don't know its
happening. We require legible
results, with names correctly
spelled, at our office by Monday
noon every week. Late reports will
only be used if you've got a great
excuse. Any questions? Call
Gregor or Tim at 527-0240.
ercruyzen
for Aalst, the past couple of
seasons. He is now living in St.
Catharines and started his
basketball career with the
Seaforth District High School
Golden Bears, helping them to
three regional titles and bronze
and silver medals in the On-
tario ,high school champion-
ships.
He later played five seasons
for St. Joseph's University in
Philadelphia's NCAA "Big 5".
McLlwain regrets
Seaforth's Dave McLiwain of
the National Hockey League's
Ottawa Senators was in town
last week.
He's leaning towards the
Detroit Red Wings for Stanley
Cup champions but says all
four remaining teams have the
stuff to make a go of it.
As for the Philadelphia Flyers
and their much -vaunted and
very large "Legion of Doom"
line, McLlwain says he wishes
the Senators were in the Cup's
' final four and playing them.
The Senators, who only won
slightly more than a handful of
games , in total this shortened
NHL Campaign, didn't get
beaten by those same Flyers all
season.
