Our Corner
Too many people try to live up to
their yearnings.
When the provincial books don't
balance then they buy a new set of
books.
About the only thing the rich and
poor have in common for breakfast
is grouch.
The man who called them "easy
payments" was a darned poor judge
of adjectives.
Sisters are people who wonder• if
a man's bride will boss him as wisely
as they have.
What we want now is a set of mag
azine articles telling how famous
men got poor.
Scandal: The thing that is called
ugly in a village and sensational
news in the city.
The reformer's unrest is real af-
ter all. He labors ceaselessly to work
himself out of a job.
It is fine to winter in the south
and loll around in a bathing suit if
you do not mind the cold.
