SEAFORTH LAWN BOWLING
Seaforth Lawn Bowling Club
numbers over 50 , almost
equally represented by -men and
women. It's a game all ages
can play. The season runs from
approximately May 24 to the end
of September. There is a very
reasonable seasonal
membership fee to join.
Interested members of the public
are welcome and encouraged to
come down to the bowling
greens when members are
present to try their hand at this
enjoyable sport. Members bowl
on Monday and Friday
afternoons and Tuesday and
Thursday evenings on the 18
greens. The necessary
equipment is minimal: a pair of
flat shoes, white clothing
(although a solid colour is
permissible if your partner is
wearing the same colour), and a
set of bowls. Interested bowlers
are free to use the Clubs bowls,
so it's not necessary to
purchase a set immediately.
Members are welcome to play in
other clubs anywhere in the
province or country. Lawn
bowling offers good exercise, .a
pleasant outdoor atmosphere
and friendly competition. For
more information call 527-0300.
The club is located at 108 Main
St. South in Seaforth.
