Thought for Today Dublin - the richest village in the Huron/Perth county because it's always "Doublin"! Residents enjoy entertainers j Seaforth Manor Retirement Home Hi, everyone! My how time flies by! This is the month we appreciate our mothers, in all that they did to raise us as children. Even as the times change and family structures are different, a mother's role remains just as important in their upbringing. April was a busy month at Seaforth Manor. On April 6, Ruth. Campbell played the piano and sang songs. Every- one enjoyed listening. On April 7, some residents helpedBarb Shannon decorate an Easter Bunny Cake. It looked almost too pretty to eat. Henrietta Brown entertained us with het musical talent by playing the piano for a sing song with the other residents. April 13 was the first trip of the season to the freeze king for Ice Cream. Lips were smacking that day! In the evening residents were entertained by the talents of the Carry On Cloggers. Norma Preszcator is the co-ordinator for this group which is made up of about 100 members ranging in age from 6 to 70 years. We would like to take this opportunity to thank thdse who come in each Sunday with communion for those of the Catholic faith. Residents enjoyed the first BBQ of the season. There was not a word uttered at the table so it seems quite certain it was enjoyed. Seaforth Manor would like to say Thank -you to the members of the Christian Reformed Church in Clinton for the Easter Cards for the residents. Seaforth Manor staff and residents would like to con- gratulate Jody and Rob Brown on the birth of their son Travis on April 17, weighing 9 lbs 4, oz. Stephanie will be exited about her new playmate. The residents would also like to congratulate Amy and Dave Harmon on the birth of their son Zachary on April 22 weighing 5 lbs 101/2 oz. Con- gratulations! Just to remind everyone, the Seaforth CIBC Bank comes to the Retirement home each Wednesday A.M. at 10:45 for banking needs. Feel free to ask the staff from the bank ques- tions while they are here. The residents and staff would like to extend their deepest sympathy to Mary McDougall in the passing of her husband Wallace (Jake). At a time such as this friends arc needed the most. A quilt will be raffled off on May 14, so get your last min- ute tickets. Yours may be the lucky one. On Good Friday residents enjoyed the Easter Egg Hunt. An activity that we enjoy on a regular basis is movie day. We show movies quite often Tea on tap Marton Rose entertained for a lovely aftemoon of music this past week at Seaforth Manor Nursing Home: Residents enjoy the piano players very much! Rev.
