It was held at the Seaforth Curling Club. Four members were honoured and late; posed for this picture around the anniversary cake. From left: Viola Taylor, Dorothy Hays, Frances Teatero, Betty Coleman. Coleman and Taylor received their plaques for long and outstanding service with the local service club. Hays and Teatero received life memberships in the Lions Foundation of Canada. The theme for 1995 is 'Communications - Hear, Speak and See.' Members were asked to keep the theme in mind for program planning. The A.C.W.W. church service will be held April 30 in Fordwich United Church. The Walton Hall will come alive once more with dance music Satur- day, April 29. The newly -formed band 'Generation II' with Keith and Gloria Wilbee, will be playing songs for all generations to dance to. Harvey and Margaret Craig were greeters at Duff's United Church on April 23. Ricky Pethick helped begin the service by lighting the Christ Candle. Rev. Randy Banks acknowledged the floral arrange- ment placed there in memory of Agnes Schade who died this past week. Duff's United Church was packed Sunday night with people from all around that came to hear the beauti- ful music of Eduard and Christine Klassen. Eduard, born and raised in Paraguay, recounted stories of his childhood and played old, familiar hymns with a Paraguayan flavor on his harp. His wife is from Ontario and she played the keyboard and together they certainty made 'beau- tiful music.' The local talent portion of the evening featured the Quartet made up of Graeme Craig, Gloria.Wilbee, Don McDonald and Marion God! in. Margery Reuther accompanied them on the piano. Before the program started Phyllis Mitchell, Margery Huether and Glenda Carter enter- tained the audience with their brand of music. It was a program that well worth attending. Wellness Fair in Seaforth There is more to good health and keeping the doctor away than having an apple a day. The Huron branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association will be in Seaforth showing some alternative health care options in this area at its "Wellness Fair" next week. It is also sponsored by the Seaforth Women's Resource Centre as part of Mental Health Week, May 1 to 7.
