Club makes wacky
creatures for Easter
BY CRISTA
VANDENHOVEN
Ducks and chicks were hatch-
ing at the first meeting of the
Seaforth 1 4-H Spring Craft
Club. The meeting was held at
the Vanden Hovens at 7 p.m. on
April 10, 1995. After members
recited the 4-H pledge members
answered the roll call by intro-
ducing. themselves. Election of
officers resulted with Barb
Wynja as President, Mike
Vanbakel as Vice president, and
Crista VandenHoven as press
reporter. Everyone will take a
turn as secretary.
Leader Jeanette Wynja showed
the variety of crafts they would
make. Then members chose the
four crafts they wanted to do at
future meetings. Gerda Vanden
Hoven explained the require-
ments for this project. Then
members chose their Easter kit
and everyone had fun creating
ducks, chicks and rabbits. A few
misformed creatures were cre-
ated by imaginative minds. A
once -cute ?binipp,.wmezirout;tozi

ended with a snack. Then the
creatures went to their new
homes.
