DIED AT ILDERTON—Thhere pas- sed away at Ildertbn on Friday, Jan. 23rd, Charles H. Duplan, a 'former well-known resident and station agent of this place. The late • 1VIr. Duplan had been in very poor health for many months, suffering- from heart trouble, hence his death was not unexpected. He was a man of sterling character and numbered his friends as many and his demise will be deeply regretted by his many friends. His wife predeceased him March 5th, 1920. Mr. Duplan was Mrs. ellford, Sr., of Port Hope is a valued member of the Anglican visiting at. Mr. Wesley Johns. church and Masonic Order and in politics 'a Conservative.
