Haist, stating that her father had ""died on Thursday evening at his home in Hersey,'.1Vlichigan. Mr. Heist will be remembered by a number of people in Exeter and Crediton, and• more especially .at Crediton, he having lived in these two places in his early days. He came to Canada about sixty -years ago from Germany and after spending a, couple of years in the afore named places, he went to Michigan, where he took up land and engaged in clearing and farm- ing and where he has resided con- tinuously. Mr. Heist is a brother` to the late members of the family, Mrs. John Fritz, Mrs. Matthew Fink- beiner and Harry Heist. MRS. JOHN TREVICHIOK DIES There died at her .home on Satur- day, Jan, , 17th, Mary, Maria Grace Amy, beloved wife of . John Trevi- thick. The deceased was in her fifty-ninth year and succumbed to heart trouble after an illness' of a 'few' weeks.'
