The 10 week program will begin on Tuesday, April 11, beginners from 7:00 to 8:00 and intermediates from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. Pre -registration is a must, as class sizes will be limited, and a minimum number is required to offer the course. Please call 527-0882 if you are interested. The spring session of fitness, line dancing for Seniors, and step training will begin the week of April 10. Fitness will be held Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thurs- day mornings from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. and Wednesday evenings. from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. Senior Line Dancing will be Tuesday mornings from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Step training will be on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. If any of these class times suit you, call the recreation office today to register. The Seaforth and District Minor Hockey Association would like to invite you to their Annual Meetingwhich will be Wednesday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m. Due to increasing costs such as equipment, second teams, instil': ance and GST, minor hockey will have to increase registration fees next fall. Other suggestions to raise revenues are to fundraise more, and charge all parents at the door. If you are against these suggestions and have ones of your own, please attend the meeting and share with the asso- ciation. Your input is necessary and valuable. Golding tribute successful A plea a few weeks ago for members of the public to con- tribute financially for a plaque commemorating one of Hibbert Township's native sons has been successful thus far. Bob Hamilton, part of a sub- committee of Hibbert council in charge of recognizing William Golding, a former federal member of parliament, said approximately $400 of the $525 projected cost of a plaque has been raised to date 4-H club makes art to be worn By JESSICA BURGESS The fashion fun continues as the Fashionable 4 -Hers create more great wearable art. The meeting was held at Joan Stewart's house at 7 p.m. on March 21. The club discussed plans for the achievement pro- gram. It was decided a meeting to ialan the achievement night will be held on April 6. A number of the girls chose to fabric -paint a T -Shirt with car- toon characters and funny pic- tures. Fabric painting wasn't the only thing happening. Other items were beaded necklaces, origami earrings, fimo earrings and necklaces with millefiori designs, painted wooden, beaded necklaces, braided leather belts and barrettes. Mary Lou Stewart was a big help with the craft techniques. The next meeting will be a double meeting, guaranteed to produce lots more wearable art!
