Roy was a member of the Seaforth Community Hospital Board from 1973- 1985, and served the Township of Grey as a councillor from 1971-72; as Deputy -Reeve from 1973-74 and as Reeve from 1975-82, and as road superintendent from 1982-92. Friends were received at the Box and Smith Funeral Chapel, 47 High St., Seaforth on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Wednesday (today) at 2 o'clock. Interment in Brussels Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to Duff's United Church, Walton, or to the Walton Ball Park would be greatly appreciated.
