Local
Music tradition in Walton
A Walton couple is carrying on a
family tradition of making music in
their band, Generation II.
Keith and Gloria Wilbee, Walton,
Ontario are the young couple which
forms Generation II. Both have
years of experience in the music
business. Keith is the son of Ian
Wilbee and played saxophone with
his parents' band for many years
and often played drums for other
bands if they needed someone for
an evening. His wife Gloria sang
for a Stratford band The Tee Keys
in the 70s. She has appeared on
local stations C.K.N.X. Wingham's
Circle 8 Ranch and C.K.C.O.
Kitchener's children's program Tree
House and recorded an album in
1978 at Mercey Brothers Studio.
Her single from that album, 1 Like
Country, a song Gloria wrote, was
played across Canada. She has sung
for the family band for the last 13
years.
Keith and Gloria are the second
generation of a family that has
played in this local area since 1958.
"Music is a family business that
we are very proud of, we think
people still appreciate live music,
and we would like to carry on our
family tradition," they say.
Keith and Gloria have used com-
puter technology to create a pro-
fessional sound combined with live
instruments and vocals. "We hope
our music has somethingto satisfy

not be of concern to the Committee
as it will not effect the reasons for
