Wedding plans should be laid starting at least six months in advance of the wedding date. The first thing to decide is what type of wedding to have: simple or elaborate? With an indoor or outdoor reception? There is always the option of being married on a boat or some other unusual site that suits the temperaments of the bride 'No second chances' with your hair on the big day On your wedding day, there are no second chances! Brides-to-be often make at least two or three visits to a hairdresser before the big day. However, a growing trend is that many new brides are opting to style their hair themselves, thanks to the availability of 'at-home' styling aids which help to achieve a professional -looking result. Experts offer some great advice for creating your own wedding day hairdo: • Start by flipping through bridal magazines for hairstyle ideas. Clip out examples of those styles that will work best on your length and type of hair. • Shop around and select your headpiece early. The hairstyle you ultimately choose will depend upon the style and shape of your headpiece — and you need to make sure they work together. • Practice makes perfect! Experiment with a variety of styling products like mousses and gels to determine which work best to help you achieve the look you want. • Also pay attention to the time required to create your'style. You'll want to leave ample time on the wedding day to get your style picture perfect. and groom. The next step is to determine the budget available for the wedding and allocation of resources as equitably as possible. There is also the list of guests, which will have an impact on the budget. There will be meetings to organize with the church minister or civil official, as well as with various suppliers and professionals.Think of the florist, musicians, limousine service, caterer, hotel or restaurant, photographer or video producer.
