Brewers take two
points from
Mannabees
Wowi On Feb. 9 they came
out to bowl with a fury. Five
game over 300, live triples over
700...stay out of their way. They
mean business.
Up against Murray's
Marauders, the Wolverines were
the only team not to have a 600
bowler but still managed to take
two points on the strength of
Karsten Carroll's 200, Jason
Whcaticy's 220, and Suc Alcc's
272-585. The Marauders were
setting the pace for the rest of
the league. Listen to this:
Bonnie Janntatt 197-540; Erich
Matzold 204,205; Deb Bedard
220,223-626; Todd Doig
205,241,258-704; Murr.:y
Benncwies 236,267,335-838.
They set the new league record
for total pintail in one night
with 3657.
The Boozin' Brewers did
sonic bruisin' themselves taking
2 points from the Wannabccs
with game like Bob Wright's
198, Heather Alcc's 194; Sharri
MacDonald's 203-518; Trevor
Price kicking in 204,247-648
and Doug Leonhardt breaking
trail with 251,310-727. The
Wannabees kind of
went...Sti?...Sandra Klavcr 503;
Pat Ryan 180; Tracy Klavcr
197; Stan Mailloux 217; Steve
Steep 272, 277-728; Brian Barry
203,258,324-785. `So?'
The Falling Pins gave up four
points to the Buds in the night's
final match -up. The Buds' high-
light tapes feature Patricia
Schwarz 221; Gary Bedard
219,264-636; and John Coleman
247,252-626. Asserting them-
selves for the Falling Pins were
Betty Coleman 223-505; Diana
Steep 202.206-564; Ralph
Johnston 323-600; and Doug
Procter 200,302-696.
Quitc a night for the Hi -Low
Doubles too. Brian Barry/Ingrid
Doig at plus 223; Steve
Steep/Sharri MacDonald at plus
205 and four other plus teams in
triple digits.
